Eden Village Independent Living – Glen Carbon, Illinois

Eden Village selected Grubbs & Associates to design their new eighty-two bed independent living facility.  Adding this component completed the Community’s Continuum of Care, which allows them to be competitive in the Senior Living marketplace.  The new U-shaped building contains three floors of apartment units that create a private courtyard for the residents that is bordered by an open air porch on the south end.  The units are spacious and feature open floor plans.  The feeling of home continues outside the individual units to the socialization spaces also included in the facility.  Each wing features a living room that contains a fireplace.  A large upscale dining room, a bistro, living area and multi-purpose room offer multiple opportunities for residents to come together.
