Magnolia Manor – Piggott, Arkansas

A repeat client, General Baptist Nursing Home, a not-for-profit organization, selected Grubbs & Associates to design their new assisted living facility.  The one-story building includes thirty-four resident units, with a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.  The exterior of the building was modeled after the character of the surrounding community, yet still maintained its own identity. An inviting lobby flows into a central communal gathering space.  Surrounding the large living area are a variety of social activity spaces: beauty shop, fitness room, chapel, family dining and library/computer room.  Each wing of the building has its own identifying features that promote way-finding.
