Park Pointe Morris Memory Care – Morris, Illinois

Horizon Healthcare wanted to add a Memory Care Facility to the campus in order to expand the services offered in the local market.  The proposed design features four households, each with fifteen private studio units with private bathrooms and a small kitchenette.  Each household has its own living room and dining room, so residents can feel more secure in their environment, without the need to leave to eat their meals in a large communal space.  A serving kitchen shared by two households features residential cabinetry and appliances, and a shared, secure outdoor courtyard offers a place for residents to wander.
