Park Pointe Morris Supportive Living – Morris, Illinois

Prism Healthcare selected Grubbs & Associates to design their Park Pointe Morris campus.  The first component of the campus was the supportive living facility which contains 58 units with a mix of studio and one bedroom apartments.  The “L” shape of the building defines an edge of the campus while blending in with the surrounding suburban subdivision neighborhoods.  The wrap-around porch located at the corner of the building accommodates the residents’ need to visually and mentally connect with the community.  The one-story administration space connects the campus and creates a central social gathering space.  The activities in this space include a gift shop, beauty shop and ice cream parlor.
