Sunset Home Dining Room – Quincy, Illinois

Sunset Home chose Grubbs & Associates to assist them in their efforts to modernize their Skilled Nursing dining room.  The large room is the main dining room for many of the residents on campus.  Sunset Home wanted to change their dining program to a “restaurant style.”  A serving window was added, and smaller spaces were created within the large area with the use of half-wall dividers and columns.  Two fireplaces and built-ins help to warm up the space.  Natural light is lacking in the space so ample cove lighting and drum-style lighting fixtures brighten the room.  Luxury vinyl tile flooring and wainscoting are durable materials and will keep the space looking fresh for years to come.
